Send me your generic anime music! I wanna hear it. Especially if there is 1-2 lines in English that I can sing along to and the rest is in Japanese/Korean, so I can sortof try to lip sinc to awkwardly.

So like I said, today was my first day of college. I think one of the reasons I was so nervous last night is because I wasn’t thinking about it at all; For the past two weeks it’s been nothing but sewing, dancing, and various techniques involving hot glue. It was all in preparation for Mizucon 2011, which, by the way, was a blast.
I always have such a great time at conventions, even during down-time when I’m just sitting around with a bunch of other people in costume talking shit. It’s worth the price and all the hassle to be around things I enjoy and people I have something in common with. Not everyone understands my nerd pains and the drama llama that is cosplaying. It’s hard, tedious, time-consuming, expensive, and I have the time of my life doing it. The fact that I got to do as much cosplaying and nerding out as I did makes this summer the best one of my life! :3
So I wanted to get a little sappy with the people that have graced me with their geeky presence for the past few months. You guys have been a big part of my great experiences this summer (and been there for me through the not-so-great) and I don’t know how to thank you. It’s all come at the perfect time for me, now that I’m leaving high school, entering college, and life is changing. I couldn’t have asked for a better end to to that chapter in my life- or a better beginning to this new one. I love you guys and appreciate you more than any other friends I’ve had in my life, and I will not let us lose touch. I couldn’t imagine nerding out without you. <3
And in case you’re not cool and don’t know what photo is about, that’s me with my future husband, Todd Haberkorn. lol
He’s gotta be my favourite voice actor, and the sweetest guy! Meeting him wrapped up my summer quite nicely… Yes. Quite nice. @_@

So today was my first day of college. Last night I was all nervous and couldn’t sleep, despite having nerded out at Mizucon for two days on about 8 hours collectively.
Well long story short, there was a bounced house obstacle course, a rock climbing wall, and a bungee jumping platform. I also got some free Quiznos and chips. Overall I’m pretty excited for college. They really make us feel welcomed at FIU.
And if if the party outside hadn’t happened, it sure beats the hell out of public high school.
It feels good to know you’re going to learn something that will actually be useful in life and that interests you~
I just love a full, busy week like this one. I spend four nights at my friends’ house, we all tried on our Kuro costumes (except for me, cause I’m a derp and haven’t finished mine), I learned (most of) a dance, it’s my mum’s birthday, tried on giant platform boots, nearly tripped and killed myself, and I even get to go to work~ lol
It’s been an eventful week. Next weekend is mizucon and I’m definitely excited to reunite with a couple of friends from Supercon. You know who you are. <3
Oh, and I totally went to the kitchen at half-past midnight with Nathalie and got some chocolate trinity icecream in pretty pink cake cones and talked in LSP voice ALL DAY. She asked me to blog about that. So I did.

Anyway, thanks to my “con buddies” for a great week. I love you guys like my own family- probably because I stay at your houses for days at a time and eat all your food. But you know you can do the same anytime. xD
